Corner blocks remove the hardest part of casing work, the mitre, and this handcrafted rosette is machined to sit at the intersection of two profiles as if it had always been there. Each block is cut from oak, poplar or fir, with the classical rosette relief machined at a depth of 3 to 6 mm and the outer edge matched to the casing section it will meet, so the transition reads as one continuous moulding rather than an applied ornament. Blocks are hand finished at the relief
