GTR Moisture Resistant Wood Moulding is a damp proof, primed baseboard profile designed for interiors where humidity changes are a concern. The finger-jointed pine core is kiln-dried and then sealed on all faces and edges, which slows moisture uptake and helps the board stay flat through seasonal swings. Supplied in long 4.88m lengths, it lets installers run corridors and large rooms with minimal joints. It suits house builders, hotel fit-out contractors and distributors who need a stable, long-length skirting.
Skirting in kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and basements faces more moisture than trim in dry living areas, and unsealed timber can swell, cup or blister paint in these conditions. Sealing a kiln-dried, finger-jointed board at the factory addresses that risk directly, while long stock reduces the number of joints where water can enter. The primed surface is ready for a topcoat, so the finished skirting both protects the wall base and presents a clean, painted line.

The skirting is specified for kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and basements, as well as for hotels, apartment blocks and student accommodation where wet-area trim must stay stable. It is also suitable for public buildings and offices that are cleaned frequently with wet methods. Long lengths make it efficient for corridors, stairwells and long perimeter walls where joint count drives labour cost.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceBoards are bundled face to face, shrink-wrapped and fitted with a full moisture barrier before being stacked on export plywood pallets. Corner protection prevents damage to the machined edges in handling and transit. Each batch is checked for moisture content, straightness, sealing quality and priming finish, and inspection records are retained so quality queries can be traced to the production run.
Ordering & CustomizationHeights, thicknesses and profiles can be customised to match existing trim, and new tooling can be created from a sample or drawing. Free samples are supplied for approval before bulk production, and several profiles can be shipped in one container so buyers can trial a range of lines. Confirm nominal sizes, preferred lengths and finish on the enquiry, and our team will return a quotation with tooling lead time and packing details.
