||
Radius work is where trim budgets quietly collapse, because bending rigid profiles on site wastes material and rarely produces a fair curve. This curved moulding is built on a flexible core that bends in both directions down to a 150 mm radius, allowing one installer to wrap an archway, a round column or a radiused bulkhead without steam boxes or kerf cutting. The face is a consistent fir section that takes primer and stain like a standard casing, so the curved piece does not read as a different material next to the straight runs it meets. Each piece is 2.44 m long, which covers a typical door arch in a single length with no mid curve joint. Sections are checked for uniform flex memory, so that a profile bent for installation returns to a straight line if it is removed during a fit out change.

Arched openings, colonnades, circular reception desks, curved banquettes and radiused wall panels are the core applications. In heritage renovation the flexible casing restores arched window heads without fabricating a bespoke knife, and in retail fit out it wraps column casings that must match the surrounding wall trim. Hotel projects use the profile on curved corridor bulkheads where a shadow line would otherwise break the ceiling plane. Because the material bends cold, site teams can dry fit the curve before committing to adhesive, which reduces the scrap rate that normally accompanies radius work and keeps the installation sequence aligned with the painting schedule.
Installation & CareDry fit the curve first and mark the fixing positions while the piece is relaxed. Apply MS polymer adhesive to the back face and press from the centre of the arc outwards, holding with temporary tape until cured. Do not force the profile below its rated radius. Cut with a fine tooth blade and reseal cut ends. Fill fixings with sandable filler and sand lightly along the curve direction. Clean with a damp cloth, avoid solvent cleaners on lacquered faces, and store unused pieces flat rather than coiled to protect the flex memory.
Packaging & Quality AssurancePieces are coiled, foam wrapped and packed in cartons with corner protection, then palletised for export. Because curved goods are sensitive to compression, cartons are rated for double stacking and container loading avoids heavy freight on top. Inspection covers radius performance on a test mandrel, face quality, finish adhesion and length accuracy. A radius test record is supplied with each lot so specifiers can verify performance against their drawing.
